Monday-Thursday- Students should wear WS uniform Polos (either Navy or Grey) and uniform bottoms
(girl's-skirts, boys-pants or shorts). WS sweatshirts/jackets may be worn during winter months, but polos
need to be worn underneath.
Spirit Fridays- Students may wear any Washington School / MAIS t-shirt or game day attire they may have. All male students will still be required to wear a belt and have their shirt tails tucked in. If a pep-rally is themed for game day, students can maintain the privilege of dressing for this theme if the dress code policy continues to be followed (all grade levels). On Fridays only, students will be permitted to wear jeans, so long as they do not have holes and are not frayed. Spirit Friday will occur every Friday for the entire school year students, faculty, and staff (unless
stated otherwise).
**NO sweatpants, athletic shorts, leggings, etc.**
Game Days- Athletes may wear their team's uniform or designated sports wear on game days only. All
teams must dress according to their coach's instructions.
Students who arrive on campus without uniforms, or the proper Spirit Friday attire, will be supplied with
the correct uniform for the day (or sent home to change). After the second offense, disciplinary
procedures will take effect.
Dress Uniform– The dress uniform will be worn on predetermined days for Lower and Secondary School
events. This list will be displayed on the school website. Dress uniforms for boys are khaki pants, belt,
white button down collared shirt (does not have to be purchased through Zoghby Uniform), and WS tie
(purchased through Zoghby Uniform). Dress uniforms for girls 2nd-12th are plaid or navy skirt/skort or
navy pants, white button down collared shirt (does not have to be purchased through Zoghby Uniform),
and WS cross tie (purchased through Zoghby Uniform). Dress uniforms for girls K4-1st are plaid or navy
jumper, white button down collared shirt (does not have to be purchased through Zoghby Uniform), and
WS cross tie (purchased through Zoghby Uniform).
