SENIOR ACTIVITIES

Just so you are not "in the dark" here is a brief listing and explanation of all of our Senior's special activities.  Please be a willing parent when it comes to volunteering to help...........We need you to make this a memorable Senior year for your child!!!

HYPE PARTY - These are "mini" parties held during school hours.  They are given during the break, lunch or afternoon free period.  Not only do these parties bond their class, they also provide us the opportunity to gather information we might need from them.

THEME PARTY - We will have a Fall and Spring Theme Party.  The date and theme will be determined by each committee chairperson. 

SENIOR SHOWCASE - Our Seniors are to be showcased in Sykes Hall during Harvest Fun.  We need parents to help with this event.

SENIOR PLAY WEEK - The parents feed the kids the week of the Senior Play when they have rehearsals all week.  Friday night is the SENIOR CAST PARTY hosted by WS and Senior parents who are employees at Washington School.

SENIOR DAY - Our Seniors receive their awards and are honored by a luncheon held at the school.  A committee is needed to coordinate food and decorations.  We will enlist Junior parents to serve.

GRADUATION NIGHT CELEBRATION - This is an all night celebration following the graduation ceremony.  THIS NIGHT'S ACTIVITIES ARE KEPT A SECRET UNTIL THEY HAVE LEFT ON THEIR TRIP!!  A committee of six parents is chosen by secret ballot.  They will plan and make all the arrangements for this night.  Our hope is to provide a safe, fun and alcohol-free night for our Seniors.

All parents must serve on one HYPE PART, one THEME PARTY, feed the Seniors one night of PLAY WEEK and help with either SENIOR SHOWCASE or SENIOR AWARDS DAY.
