The
Washington School counseling philosophy incorporates the process
of guiding our students toward the goal of reaching harmony
between their academics and their personal well-being.
Counselors strive to develop a strong partnership with parents
and encourage them to be active participants in their child’s
education. It is the goal of the counselor to aide the students
in meeting their intellectual, social, and emotional challenges
throughout the various stages of development through the junior
high school, high school, and college counseling services.
The
Counselors’ Office also serves as a liaison
between teachers and parents. If you wish to schedule a
parent-teacher conference with any of your child’s teachers
please feel free to contact the Counselors’ office at
662-335-3239.
